I'm a Dork

A coworker comes and sits down in my cube today. I notice that she has this black dirt mark on her forehead. I think, “What is that? Is that mascara? Dirt? I need to tell her! No I’m not telling her; I don’t know her that well. No I’ll tell her, I don’t want her to look in the mirror and wonder why I didn’t tell her!” So I tell her. She says “oh no it’s…” and then it hits me! I immediately say “Ashes! Oh I’m sorry! I so forgot it was Ash Wednesday!” She laughed, I laughed. She understood. I’m a dork!
