Why?

Last night at the Grammy's, Amy Winehouse cleaned up! I know she at least won 3 while I was watching. Now what I want to know is...Why? She had one song, right? This one song won all these awards? What's so great about this one song? I mean I guess it does stick in your head, that one little phrase of the song, but other than that, why? I just don't understand, she's like all you hear about lately. Someone please enlighten me!
